She is thrilled to be a part of this next adventure with STLP and cannot wait to see what these performers create!

Therapeutic Support Specialist

Jenna is excited to join Shine the Light Project as a Therapeutic Support Specialist. Jenna is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for First Steps and has been practicing for 16 years. Her background in this field began as a teenager when she worked for a local park district that offered sports and activities for individuals of all ages and abilities. Additionally, Jenna’s sister Jamee was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, which brings a deep personal passion to her work and ability to serve others.

Teagin Powers

A smiling person with short brown hair, glasses, and multiple facial piercings, wearing a sleeveless olive green top outdoors with blurred green foliage in the background.
ASL Interpreter, Production Manager

Ready to dive headfirst into this next exciting chapter, Teagin might officially be called an ASL interpreter (and a K-12 educational interpreter during the day!) but she answers much better to "multitasking language ninja." Over the years, she’s worn just about every hat the stage has to offer: performer, costumer, prop master, production assistant, and, naturally, hands-up ASL interpreter. For Teagin, there’s truly nothing better than riding the wild, magical wave of theatrical chaos!
